Wooo! On my day off yesterday (sick as a god), I worked on the infrastructure for my new blog, The Diddly Squatter Blog. It's all XML/XSL based, on the client machine. You see, I wrote a VB application that does all the XML transforming stuff, with FTP capability built it that publishes the output HTML to the geocities website.

Cool huh? Whaddaya mean - a lot of work for a mediocre blog?? I've have you know it's been, um, character building and stuff.

And let me say, trying to code while sick is a time consuming process. My brain dropped to at most 43% of operational capacity, but I stumbled through it.

OK, so the truth is I don't have the FTP bit working yet... are you happy?? But soon. The code's all there. Honest.

Ack. I don't feel well. Some sort of tummy flu. Feel hungry all the time, and.... other symptoms that I shan't go into. I shan't! Might make some excuses and go home soon. I can't concentrate on work at all. ASP and XML stuff at the moment. And testing some XML server software, but reading the documentation - well, I've read the same paragraph 5 or 6 times now, and I don't want to do it again.

Hey to Lunastar if you're reading this by the way! I know, my writing is insightful and informative. I get that a lot.
